The Non Marking Contagrip outsole is ideal for the winter season since it is highly resistant and incorporates carbide studs that maximize the traction and grip in wet terrains, with snow and ice. This trail running shoe comes with a molded EVA midsole that injects cushioning and stability to each step and an anti-mud protective layer.
Inside, we find the Ortholite insole that guarantees freshness and hygiene and a heel with EVA foam to provide more padding.
The most interesting thing about this trekking shoe is the innovative ClimaShield system that offers protection against the water and snow, maximum breathability, and warmth for the lowest temperatures. With the Sensifit system, that fits the foot with precision and Quicklace for easy lacing, you have all the possibilities in your favor to fully enjoy your mountaineering experience.
Like the Speedcross 3, the Spikecross is an improved Speedcross, including bonded and welded upper, lower heel for better stability, and improved durability.
The Spikecross has metal spikes, recessed into the tread for sure grip on icy surfaces.

Hi! Grip may decrease on asphalt due to iron spikes. It is not recommended to use on asphalt because iron spikes wear out very quickly on this surface. Thanks for your question!
