If you are one of those who prefers a high or medium cane trekking boot, the Salomon X Ultra 3 Mid Goretex is your perfect choice for maximum stability and control of the ankle. In this shoe, Salomon has selected their best technologies and systems to offer you comfort, protection, support to the ground and impermeability.
For hiking in complex surfaces and areas with high precipitations, you need footwear with excellent grip, flexibility and traction like this mountain boot that have High Traction Contagrip sole, Descent Control technology and advanced chassis. In addition, both the heel and the toe have double protection against shock and an anti-mud layer so it does not stick to the shoe.
The best thing about this version is its Goretex waterproof membrane that protects from water or mud and your feet are kept dry the entire trip. But this model also incorporates a Softshell mesh which covers the shoe with waterproof polyurethane, so your feet never will end up wet.
The midsole injected with EVA and the OrthoLite foam, with anti-smell and anti-microbial treatment, fill the interior of this hiking boot with comfort, details that end to make it ideal for outdoor outings.

I have been surprised by these boots, I use them for hard activities in the mountains in hunting activities! I was looking for a grippy sole on wet rock, and my first use passed with a grade of 10! The template cushions perfectly and it has been a great experience! Very comfortable and very very light! Surely when I need others again, I will buy them again! By the way in Salomon, I need a number more than my usual number!

Boots are comfortable, with a good grip, but in terms of durability they are not in line with other models, which are in the same price range. I took two 120 km walks and both began to take off the sole laterally. I tried to clear up the problem by getting a second pair and walking other tracks, but the results were the same. They are not suitable for hikers venturing on either longer or stony journeys. I have used several models of the brand and this was a huge disappointment.

Very good shoe for a trek in the mountains. Safety, light in spite of everything. On the other hand, the gore tex system does not work on the lateral parts of the shoe, both internally and externally. The system only works for the top of the shoe. To see again as soon as possible

Great boots, very light and comfortable. I used them for summer hiking season and i loved them. I put them in water and nothing leaked inside. I didn't even felt the cold water. Goretex worked perfectly. The sole was very soft and my feet didn't got tired after several hours of hike on very rocky mountains!!
