In addition, both the heel and the toe have double protection against shock and an anti-mud layer so it does not stick to the shoe.
The best thing about this version is its Goretex waterproof membrane that protects from water or mud and your feet are kept dry the entire trip. But this model also incorporates a Softshell mesh which covers the shoe with waterproof polyurethane, so your feet never will end up wet.

It's a great pair of boots in general. Great grip, supportive and protective main body of boots for your ankles. If I should mention a negative point, i would say the tongue is a bit puffy / big and you have to tie the laces every so often. All in all, it´sa nice pair of shoes in all aspects and i hope it is worth its money!

Great for trekking, very comfortable, adaptable and flexible. Since the premiere without any problem, they are light and have good grip on the mountain and quite good protection at the ankles, to be so flexible.

Just received my shoes this morning and they are a perfect companion to my trekking adventure. Fits comfortably and excellent quality. There is a bouncy effect while walking which would be a great shock absorber during rough terrain and mountainous region. Highly recommended if you are still undecided to get this pair of shoes.
