if you take out the useless knife and the carabiner, you end up with a super light fork and spoon set at just 16 gr. It´s not bad at all. The metal is a bit thin and so it will feel wobbly, I will not use these at all for cooking in with my main pot as the set is a bit short and will transmit the heat, but as eating spoon and fork they are great.

I have washed the cutlery in the dishwasher as I opened the package, the black has gone and now they are gray with a very rough touch, in the state they are in, are they suitable for food consumption? Will no heavy metals be released? What a poor quality.....

I have washed cutlery in dishwasher too,but i did not observe same as you. All stayed as it was. No significant color lose.

In fact, the material of the product is aluminum and it is not suitable to wash aluminum in the dishwasher, precisely so that this does not happen, it is not a problem with the quality of the product but a limitation of the dishwasher.

Unfortunately, it is not entirely safe to use damaged anodized aluminum cutlery since aluminum can leak into the food without the protective anodized layer. (Technically it is noted on the packaging that this cutlery is not dishwasher safe.)
