The second generation of the universal harness for all kinds of climbing activities suitable mainly for beginners, climbing courses and gyms.

- comes in two sizes which adapt to all users

- 3 Rock&Lock buckles enable fast and safe adjustment

-BMI adjusting system on the waist belt (consists of two loops on one side and two velcro straps on the other one) keeps the waist belt webbing with the belay loop in a proper position in various sizes

-rear size label makes size adjusting very easy

-construction of the waist belt and leg loops provides maximum support and comfort when hanging in the harness

-reinforced tie-in points for longer lifetime of the harness

-red color belay loop for proper tie-in/attachment point, strength 15 kN

-inside mesh wicks moisture away and dries quickly in wet conditions

very quick and prompt ,delivery by trekkinn - purchased on a saturday and received in 4 days (wednesday). the ability to alter ,the waist size of the harness is clever, allowing one to find the perfect fit. leg loops are comfortable too. though i gotta say, the groin area is less comfortable while hanging as compared to other brands. but overall great stuff.

velcro adjustment

I have not seen any other harness with a velcro adjustment in the back before and was thinking that seems like the “weakest link” if something were to go wrong. what would happen if the velcro adjustment open wider than set before hand when you fall? would it open so wide you would be able to slip out? kind regards Lukas

The velcro on the back and sides is to adjust the overall circumference of the harness and keep the belay/rappel loop centered in the front. Once you´ve cinched the harness up, however, the webbing that passes through the buckle is going to keep the harness tight. The velcro isn´t really what´s keeping it tight on your body, it´s the webbing. So long as you cinch the webbing correctly, you´re good to go.

No, it opens a few cm at most

Not at all, it is very secure, the velcro does not separate, since it is the same waist only with several positions, the difference is very small but sufficient for the three sizes. In S the harness and waist padding are centered. While in XS the waist padding is one cm to the left, in M it is to the right, but the ventral ring is always in the middle and you hardly notice the difference. Always protected around the waist.
