The two layers DryVent fabric is combined with the durable waterproof finish (DWR) to provide the maximum impermeability you have ever seen, capable to resist an intense rain or light snow. Besides, this fabric allows the expulsion of sweat and moisture to the outside, so you always maintain dry no matter how strong the day has been.
This waterproof pant comes with an elastic waist, hand pockets with zipper, zippers on the ankles if you want more ventilation, and Velcro closure in case you need to adjust it to the boot to avoid the entering of snow.

DryVent™ technology shields you from wind and rain while also allowing your skin to breathe, keeping sweat and clamminess at bay.

They layer perfectly over a baselayer and thanks to the knee-high side zips and Velcro® ankle tabs you can pull them on - quickly - over hiking boots and regular trousers if you´re caught in a sudden downpour.
They feature an elasticated waist and two zipped hand pockets.

it's waterproof I walked in the rain and it's good. At the beginning you wear it warm but when hiking it becomes comfortable. A little too short for its width and would like a strap on the shoe.

It is very good quality and although I did not get it it seems waterproof, however if you find your size on the sledgehammer you will find that it is a bit loose but also short. If you sit in a chair, you will understand.
Poor item description, item not as pictures

The description of these pants is not accurate / complete. Firstly, they are HYVENT on the picture and DRYVENT in reality (what I have received). Also, they are WOMENS pants (it does not mention in the description), this will help you in correctly choosing your size. I have used Hyvent, mens size S for the last 5 years and I am very satisfied, which is why I wanted to buy the same model and size. Unfortunately they are not what I was looking for. Fortunately they fit into a friend and I hope they will prove quality on the way.

Excellent membrane pants, lightweight and functional, good job with both moisture barrier and a steam discharge pipe. Unfortunately, dimensional mesh a little flawed, very bolshemerit.
