They are very waterproof and without animal skin, just what I needed. Yes it is true that you have to take one size more, or even with half I think it would be enough. It seems to me very comfortable and strong, it seems that they will last me a lot. The only thing I could complain about is that being so hard can not be worn with short socks or without protecting the lower part of the foot, as they rub and end up wounding. But good if you wear long socks no problem. I recommend them the truth.
