Technology:



GORE-TEX® boots are designed to be durably waterproof and breathable. They have been designed by engineers to get an optimal climatic comfort.



Treksta Forest boot collection uses GORE-TEX® membrane. GORE-TEX® membrane is laminated to the boot´s lining fabric to create a high-performance textile. Then seams are sealed with an special GORE-TEX® tape.



This lining will give us guaranteed and durable waterproof protection, high breathability and windproofness. The secret of GORE-TEX® fabrics lies within its revolutionary bi-component membrane.



The expanded PTFE portion of the membrane contains over 9 billion microscopic pores per square inch. These pores are approximately 20,000 times smaller than a drop of water, but 700 times bigger than a molecule of moisture vapour.



So whilst water droplets cannot penetrate the GORE-TEX® membrane, moisture vapour (a gas) can easily escape. Seam sealing The holes made by needles in seams may be small, but they can cause leaks.



That’s why even the most waterproof, breathable, windproof fabric won’t keep you dry and comfortable if the seams are not sealed. For durable waterproofness and liquid resistance, GORE-TEX® products rely on GORE-SEAM TAPE technologies.



These tapes seal tiny holes created by sewing machine needles. TREKSTA combines GORE-TEX® membrane with seam sealing process with GORE-SEAM TAPE. The result is a boot with a guaranteed and durable waterproof protection and maximum breathability.

The NestFIT last was born out of measurements taken from some 20,000 individual feet; human feet… just like yours. The upper, insole, midsole, and outsole mold perfectly to the unique contours of your foot, providing a custom fit unlike any other.



The last mirrors the contact points of the leading portion of the big toe, the curve along the other four toes and the indentation of the arch and instep.



The NestFIT last is designed to account for every contour of the human foot, eliminating unnecessary gaps and pressure points. The insole matches the curves and contours of the bottom of the foot, eliminating gaps for unmatched comfort.



Three different densities of EVA polymer give the correct amount of support to each area of the foot. The variable density midsole compliments the insole to give you that “walking on a cloud” feeling.



The top of the outsole matches the midsole rubber profile for a seamless supportive whole. The slight heel and forefoot “rocker” eases the impact of the initial foot “strike: and suppers the natural progression of the step
