I bought this cap as I was hoping that the shorter height of it would stop the sides from resting behind my ears. It does and the cap fits great - I ordered a medium as I wasn't sure about sizing, but it's adjustable easily and I managed to get it to fit perfectly. The shorter peak will also come in useful when I'm photographing as it shouldn't keep getting in the way of the camera when I'm looking through the viewfinder.
