The outer jacket with detachable hood is completely waterproof, windproof and breathable. The side pockets are easy to reach, even with your packs hipbelt closed. The insulating quilted inner jacket serves as heat storage and can be worn on its own. Depending on the weather and temperatures, the jackets can be combined for great flexibility on tour.
