Exceptionally breathable insulation and jersey fabric at the sides and arms ensure an optimal microclimate and unbeatable freedom of movement. Lightweight insulation keeps your torso running at operating temperatures and works in combination with the premium Pertex®® micro light material to protect from overcooling due to the wind chill effect. This touring jacket is an excellent choice for wearing as an insulating midlayer with a shell, or as a lightweight outer layer on its own. The jersey material uses recycled polyamide from an up cycling process of items such as used fishing nets. Manufactured with Eco Finish, it features environmentally-friendly waterproofing with no fluorocarbons (PFC). - VAUDE products bearing the Eco Finish been waterproofed in an environmentally-friendly way without fluorocarbons (PFC). PFCs are part of a group of chemical compounds which are used to waterproof the outer layer of many outdoor products. They have come under criticism for being non-biodegradable, bioaccumulative and toxic, and suspected of being harmful to health. VAUDE has made a clear commitment to completely renouncing PFCs.
