Very nice shoe with wool in the upper material. Unfortunately the cm information in the size table is incorrect. The men's size 43 is stated as 27.31 cm. However, the box that was delivered says 43 with 26.5 cm and this information is correct. So it's better to order about 1 - 1.5 sizes larger than you wear in normal shoes. In addition, in the color Blue/Black, the darker plastic reinforcement strips tend to be more violet than dark blue (you can't see it in the product image). This is just for information for people with purple allergies ;-) The upper material with wool content has a beautiful blue and overall the shoe looks great despite the small "color faux pas". Delivery and service from the shop were quick and good.

Based on reviews I erred on the side of caution ordering up one size, EU44 rather than a EU43 as recommend by this site. On giving them a good long walk in hot weather to break them in I'm glad I went slightly larger size as a 43 would have been a very snug fit and as someone with shorter webbing between my 2nd and 3rd toe may have caused rubbing. The extra 3-4mm of room in the 44 avoided this while leaving open the option of wearing toe socks in cold weather and foot swelling when doing long distances. Overall very pleased with quality and fit of the Alpha and confident they will hold up the pressures of medium distance running and trail hiking I intend to put them through.

Shoe is great. Had to go a size up from my previous pair of FiveFingers (Run v2) for the perfect fit. Very comfortable for trail running - found these much better than the vTrails. Delivery was almost 2 months longer than the original estimate, but the customer support was very helpful each time I checked in with them. However, great price, so would definitely shop here again.

I used to use 5 fingers, and I bought the same model here because I crushed it and had a hole in the bottom. The color is all black, so it is inconspicuous and easy to match. The yen was depreciating, but it was still cheaper than buying it in Japan.

This is my 7th set of Vibrams. This shoe sits perfectly between the EVO/ECO sole and the TREK soles. The design is finally starting to look modern and not just bizarre, so much less conspicuous. The quality is by far the best on any Vibram shoe I own, including Furoshikis. But the grip on these things is unbelievable. I found the sizing to match the KSO ECO.

Very satisfied, order arrived very quickly. Testing the shoes with a 10km road run. Nothing to say, they meet exactly what I was looking for and will replace my basic fivefingers and my old kso for running. The v-alpha have slightly more cushioning than my old fivefingers, while still remaining just as soft and natural. They are also more comfortable. For the size, refer to the size guide after measuring his 2 feet (and choosing the length of the tallest). If you are just right, take a size up.

Compared to the Classic, which I also bought recently and am enjoying already, the V Alpha feels even lighter and more snug on my feet. As other reviews have said, "like a second skin." My toes are tingling with excitement to wear these out on trails and non-asphalt/concrete surfaces (don't want to wear out the textured soles too quickly - I use the classics with their smooth soles for that). That said, even wearing the V Alphas barefoot for just a few minutes got my feet sweating in this summer heat, so I put on a pair of five toe socks, which felt much more comfortable. I recommend getting some socks to wear with these if you're not crazy about the feel of sweaty feet in your shoes.

Despite Corona, fast delivery to Austria. Shoes fit in size 43, are very light and flexible. In contrast to my previous Five Fingers, there is even an environmental seal. But I don't know how trustworthy that is. They are still made in Vietnam.
