Most comfortable shoes i ever bought!

I recently bought this pair of Vibrams. I tested them first in a shop in Paris. I have to say, these are the most comfortable shoes I have right now. The soft lining inside keeps your feet warm. I can only recommend this shoe. I usually wear size 43, but I bought size 44 and it fits perfectly. Go one size up.

These five fingers are amazing! When grabbing yourself a pair, remember to size up and wear socks. So far lowest temperature I've been in is -2'C. My first pair of insulated five fingers and I'm sure not the last.

The shoe is fully lined throughout the sole and toes, which makes it totally suitable for very cold temperatures.. and reading the reviews of other buyers of this insulated model, I ordered a larger size since the same lining reduces the interior size and it was correct. ask for it like this

Very comfortable shoes with a good fit on my gnarled, clumsy and slightly flat feet. It will be exciting to take them out on Nordic hikes this autumn. The advice to go up a size is correct. Will impregnate them first for better durability and moisture barrier; spray and Greenland wax.

As I have been able to read in other comments, you should take a size above the usual in other fivefingers such as the KSO. I KSO wear 43 and in the Insulated 44 without a doubt. At the moment, from what I have been able to prove, great comfort and insulation for the cold. For me, the best footwear for winter.

These are my second pair of Vibrams, first insulated pair. These are as comfortable, are so soft inside.They are definitely warm, super soft inside. It is very light. If at the beginning I was skeptical about fiefingers, now I have clarified! they are perfect! I did not imagine that they fit so well on the leg, they are like cast iron! I hope it lasts and doesn't bother me along the way.

I use the shoe for running in the Russian winter. Order one size larger, then it fits perfectly with socks! The shoe is very light, soft rubber sole (remains soft at minus 20 degrees), very good grip on snow and ice. Absolutely to recommend!

I've been running all winter in them. The average foray is 150-200 km per month. Walking with children, of course, is not possible, since the legs get cold if you move inactively or do not move. The sole holds well on compressed and loose snow, it does not hold on ice at all. I used it as shoes for hiking up to -2 degrees, then switched to regular boots. Approximately 400 km of run, the seams on the heel began to bloom, you will have to give it to the workshop. It is possible that salt and reagents that are sprinkled on roads in winter are to blame for this.

The vibram fivefingers V Trek Insulated Hiking Shoes is of high quality. It makes you feel like walking on clouds, the sole is thicker than usual. Soft, cozy interior keeps your feet warm when it rains, no problem for a walk. The sole of the foot is slippery on slippery surfaces. The shoe is super comfortable. I’ve been pretty happy with the two pairs of Insulated Trek Ascents so I decided to try out the V-Treks. Other than there not being eyelets for the top lace holes (bring back the eyelets- easier to get the foot in/out and lace up) seems very much like the same shoe. Regarding sizing- I wear a 43 for regular FiveFinger shoes. I went to a 44 for the Insulated Trek Ascents but for the V-Treks I decided on a 45- this allows me the option of two pairs of socks for colder days, accommodates mild foot swelling during extended runs, and it’s working well for me. Regarding waterproofing- it’s non existent. You’re wearing a very low cut fabric shoe. Feet sweat. You’ll experience wetness regardless of attempts to prevent it. The trail feel is still pretty good (even with two pairs of socks). I’ve run in -20C for a couple of hours with no discomfort. Traction isn’t amazing on ice/loose snow but I feel it’s better than a harder sole shoe. Since I’m now on my third pair (and the first two pairs are still in good shape) I’m obviously sold on them- simply a pleasure to run in and they extend my running season to year round comfortably.

They are perfect, I bought them because I also have the KSO EVO and it is impossible to use them in winter, your floor stays stiff from the cold. With the V-TREK INSULATED, my feet are always warm, they are worth both for use in the gym and for hiking or running in the mountains. I recommend them without a doubt.

I use size 44 in normal V-Treks, and size 45 in V-Trek Insulated. The V-Trek Insulated are for winter or cold weather.
