Face the mountains, with its ascents, descents, stones, and other conditions of the terrains is much easier with the S Lab X Alp Carbon 2 Goretex boot by Salomon, thanks to its water-resistant materials, flexible, durable, and with the best grip for any sports activities.
This alpinism boot has been designed with the Non Marking Mountaineering Contagrip outsole, whose rubber is very resistant and it grips very well in wet or rocky terrains, and a carbon Chassis Ending, which is lighter but very dynamic, which coupled with the dual intensity EVA midsole, provide better stability, cushioning, and control of movement.
The Goretex Performance Comfort membrane gives you indisputable protection against the rain and snow, good breathability, and fast drying so you can continue your ride without discomfort. In the upper, we find a resistant and anti-sand mesh that in turn also allows the ventilation of the foot and avoids the sand or small rocks from entering the inside of the footwear.
The gaiter with zipper gives you better protection for the foot, the Quicklace system facilitates a quick lacing and the Sensifit system molds to the foot to offer you the support you need on the mountain.

"Consider ordering one size up from your normal sizing" Delivery from Trekk was excellent. Came in very short time. This rating could well be a 5 but the jury is still out... I work as a guide / mountain leader in the Alps and Iceland and have bought countless Salomon boots and trainers through the years. Certainly well over 20 pairs. I have had lots of mtn boots, many pairs of fell running shoes, and also LAB with the neoprene over-sock with snow spikes. Generally I can stick them on in the shop and hit the hills that day. Because these were mail order I didn't have the chance to try on obviously. They seem a lot narrower and tighter than my regular Salomons and are causing a few blisters. Nothing major and generally I'm a wider fitting. The nature of these boots seems to be a little tougher and unforgiving straight out the box so maybe consider factoring in some wear in time if buying straight before a trip as would do a ore traditional leather boot. I'd advise trying a slightly larger size than normal. No probs with quality, like the grip of the sole. Haven't fully tested in wet yet but all fittings and straps seem great. Think they'll be a boot that lasts a while. Like the protection around the toe. I've been alternating with my fell running shoes so all is good for the moment.

I love this brand anyway, and these were bought as an alternative to my 4D GTX.. I did Snowdon in them last weekend and I have to say they are great as far as fit and grip goes. Sure footed all the way and comfortable to rock hop in on the way down.. The footprint is narrower than the 4D’s and fit is narrower. The lack of ankle support I didn’t find an issue over very challenging terrain and in fact welcomed the lack of restriction.. weird, I though that’s where they might loose points, but because of the reinforced sole design they just feel rock solid.. so there you go.. lightweight Alpine boots that I also use for long treks.. also being able to have the hater open in hot weather is awesome!! Zero regrets.

They announce a delivery in a few days but it takes several weeks to receive the product. Only the sampling is very fast and made to the order long before sending. you can contact them, they do not give you any information, once it's cashed, it's not their problem anymore

Hello, I practice hunting with greyhounds and almost always walk through agricultural land. Wet sowing, sometimes others, very dry but in definitive cultivable land. I usually do it with boots like "chiruca" .. I would improve my comfort with these boots .. We have 6/8 hours walking days .. Greetings.
