The Salomon Sense Ride 3 shoes are ideal for walking or running in the mountain because they have an adherent sole that provides you with great grip, stability, cushioning, comfort, and custom fit.
These trail running shoes have the Contagrip MA sole that offers excellent traction on wet, dry, hard or slippery surfaces. The French house has innovated with the creation of Optivibe midsole that combines cushioning with impulse, avoiding vibrations and reducing muscle fatigue. Besides, the Profeel Film gives superior protection on rocky terrains.
The upper is made with an only layer that adjusts to the foot and keeps ventilated at all times. Inside, the Endofit and Sensifit systems molds to the foot giving greater comfort.
These mountain shoes also come with the Ortholite insole that gives an unprecedented feeling of comfort, favors breathability, and the hygiene of the foot. The Quicklace system provides quick and easy tying.

It had been a long time since I had a Salomon due to an experience with some shoes that after a few KM were destroyed from the sole. I dared to compare the Sense Ride 3 more than anything because the price was very good. The result after a few outings (maximum of 20Km) is very good. I am very happy. Light, resistant, very comfortable, ... They would need a little protection in the upper and a little tacking for technical areas. For the rest, a marvel, especially on less technical terrain.

Top shoe for the Dutch forests and also runs well on the road. In the mountains I would also wear these like this. Good fit and closure for my 'low volume' feet. Shoe feels light and fairly stable after the first 11 km trail. Better cushioning than other Salomons, but less cushioning than in my Nike Peg 36 Trail. Bargain at this price.

They are very balanced Trail shoes. They close very well by the collar and nothing comes in. It is the second pair that I spend. I park the first ones with 900 km and they can still be stretched.

Quite comfortable and cushioned shoes too, they are not the most cushioned on the market but for trail running with people weighing more than 70 kilos, perfect. New Balance Hierro for me a bit more damped but these Salomon are a bit faster but less damped in the maximum damping segment.

Salomon has tried to improve the deficiencies of the previous Sense Ride 2 model, my previous shoe, which was broken by the thumb joint. Protections have been improved. Greater stability in the heel and ankle. Greater cushioning in the forefoot. The tongue better supports the foot. It is somewhat slower, but clearly improves stability and comfort, especially when the kilometers pass. Ventilation seemed sufficient to me. Use template: they fit and adapt well. After 45 km per mountain, very good sensations, although the toe guard has started to take off.

I have gone out to run a couple of times with my new salomon sense ride 3, a shoe that according to the French house is designed for training and medium-long distance but without looking for the time, although we will see that for more than one it could be Running shoes since they are easy and above all very comfortable shoes, and despite this they remain at a fairly light weight. For this evolution of the Sense Ride 2, Salomon has chosen to make a slightly more closed upper, with a little more protection against rocks and more resistant with a new mesh that with its typical quicklace binding system, provides a very firm hold at the same time very very comfortable, the sensation as soon as you put them on is that they adapt perfectly to the foot and that to devour kilometers is a joy. the tongue is sewn to the sole, this gives us the feeling of wearing a sock with studs. Being a little more closed these sense ride 3 will surely be hotter than the previous version and it will also cost them more to dry in case water enters. As we say, they are sneakers intended rather for training and therefore have good cushioning, the midsole optivibe system, absorbs vibrations to reduce long-term injuries according to Salomon, the running sensations are very good, noting everything moment the damping pulling soft but with great stability and good terrain information, a great job from the French house. These shoes have an ortholite insole, which apart from not deforming is water-repellent and anti-bacteria with which we will always keep our feet well cradled. Between the midsole and the sole we find a plastic base called the propheel film to protect us from sharp rocks, and I can say that it works wonderfully, I have not noticed a stab in the feet and that I was looking for them. This plate, in addition to protecting the sole of the foot, provides a bit of reactivity in the outlet, which makes them faster than it may initially seem, all without losing flexibility. The sole on its side is made with the contagrip compound, the most adherent of the brand, and it really works like a charm on all types of surfaces, including polished and wet rocks. the sole is well spaced and has a prominence of about 4mm, this makes it a very versatile shoe since it can defend quite well on oily terrain such as wet grass and mud, such as on tracks or more decomposed areas of loose stone or sand. I have put them to the test for several of these terrains and the results have been excellent in all of them although with a lot of mud they collapse but they are not designed for it. the shoe's shape, which is somewhat narrower at the heel and rather wide at the front of the toes, provides a good compromise between support and comfort, without being a bulky shoe so as not to lose precision in the most technical areas. I can say that I have put her in trouble in difficult areas and I have not lacked precision. its drop of 8mm and the beveled shape of the heel to facilitate reception, makes it an easy shoe for all audiences, from starting on the trail and looking for a comfortable shoe for everything, like the experienced runner looking for a comfortable shoe for long but demanding workouts. As it is not a flying shoe, this salomon sense ride 3 has a weight of 310g real in size 43 2/3, it is not the 280g advertised on the web but I think it is a weight more than adjusted for cushioning and protection it offers. That is why I say that although it is not a running shoe to go full throttle for the clock, it is more than valid for a medium distance if you are a middleweight runner or even a marathon for somewhat lighter runners they can work more than well.
