The Salomon Speedcross 4 Goretex shoes are the perfect companions for trail running in wet terrain, grass, loose or compact land, where their prominent lugs are like claws that hold you with absolute firmness and support.
This model is made so you can face puddles or even rain without your feet being noticed, thanks to its Goretex membrane, whose main function is to provide you of impermeability and breathability, the only thing that was missing from the original version of Speedcross 4.
Salomon designed this trail running shoe with Contagrip TA sole and more than 30 aggressive lugs in the form of a spike that leaves no possibility for slips since even in the wet rock they hold on with tightly. The midsole of EVA with Light Weight Muscle technology is actually light and offers a pretty much firm cushioning.
The Sensifit system takes you to higher levels of adjustment and stability in the foot, that joined to the Quicklace system, which incorporates a pocket on the upper for the laces, gives you security and support.
Although the drop is 11 mm you have a very good feeling of the ground, for those runners who looking for this detail, and as the brand says, we could say that is a good competition shoe.

I love these shoes. Great for running across boggy ground with a fantastic level of grip and waterproofing, but also just incredibly comfortable from day one. I fully intend to buy these again and again and am now looking at a pair of Salomon hiking boots as they are clearly a quality company

I bought the Salomon Speedcross in 2019 and they have proven to be a great workhorse. Across rocky hills, bog, gorse, thick mud, they just take it all. Even as an everyday show going to shops, they are really comfortable. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a good neutral shoe.

Very nice trail shoe ... do not hesitate to take 1.5 size above its size, I find the rubber of the crampons a little flexible compared to my old pair (the same) to see therefore the wear over time .. Mervi trekkin for the right price

The shoe is very well made and very comfortable. The sole is designed for trail running and does a great job. If you just want to wear it as a sneaker, you will notice an extraordinary wear of the special sole on pure asphalt and in the summer heat. For me it was rather small, but for me it is always with Salomon.

Excellent running shoe. Better fit than others as they offer half sizes so very comfortable. Quick lacing system is a bonus. Good grip on muddy tracks. I’ve not seen the Gortex version offered at discount prices in most places so this is really good, although I’ve not tested the trainers in the rain yet.

High quality mountain bamboos. Sole grabs a lot. It remains to be seen how long they last. Appearance and quality of first class materials. Somewhat large size compared to other brands. Trekkinn if not because I think it is the only page in the world that charges shipping costs would give it a good note too, but the good service they give, you have paid part. being an avid salomon fan i had to buy this trainer as i wanted something light, stylish and waterproof. i was not disappointed. they are so comfortable and fit for purpose on all terrains that i even cycle to work with them on. having ,looked on the salomon website and seen them at £140 i searched further.. trekkinn were far cheaper and gave a great service by delivering on time with tracking info. will definitely buy from them again and recommend to others. well happy!
