Adidas Terrex Free Hiker 2 Hiking Shoes offer comfort, traction, breathability, and protection in any terrain of the mountains and represent one of the many solutions that the German brand has created to recover industrial waste from the environment and provide you a sustainable choice with excellent performance.
These trekking shoes are made with a Continental outsole that gives excellent grip with their thick studs on all types of surfaces. They include the BOOST midsole that promotes maximum transmission of energy and elasticity even in high temperatures. Besides, they incorporate an EVA external reinforcement and a stabilizer pad on the heel, which makes them more cushioned and stable to walk for hours or during a weekend excursion.
These hiking sneakers have a mesh upper made with Primeknit technology that combines recycled polyester and processed yarns, which give a comfortable fit, while synthetic details without seams increase their resistance against abrasions. They present a mid-cane look, a protective toe cap, a double drag strip, and traditional laces.
The men´s adidas Terrex Free Hiker 2 shoes are about the comfort to hike further and faster.
The combination of an engineered mesh upper with an adidas Primeknit collar and a BOOST midsole creates foot-hugging support and long-lasting energy return for all-day adventure.
An internal frame adds the stability needed to move with confidence over rocky, uneven ground.
Its shape creates a fluid transition and roll off for a smooth feel that lets you move faster and go further.
The Continental™ Rubber outsole provides extraordinary traction in wet and dry conditions.
This shoe´s upper is made with a high-performance yarn which contains at least 50% Parley Ocean Plastic — reimagined plastic waste, intercepted on remote islands, beaches, coastal communities and shorelines, preventing it from polluting our ocean.
The other 50% of the yarn is recycled polyester.

Turned out to be with a rather narrow block and run small, take 2 sizes more! In general, not bad shoes, but it turned out to be not enough for me, I don’t know if I can go hiking in them.

Hiked with these through really rough terrain with mud, sharp rocks, and vegetation and they don´t even have a scratch. Super comfy and the ankle is held nicely and snugly.

They are really very comfortable and aesthetically very well designed, yes, the part of the stocking is quite high, which if I don't wear a sock up to the shin, personally makes me a bit uncomfortable. For everything else, I consider them to be one of the best hiking shoes.

I like the boot look and the tight ankles. I would like to say the waterproofing needs some work. If I spend £150 on a walking boot I would hope it would be waterproof but other than that it’s great. I wear them for work and I put my high instep insoles in and love them.

The color balance is just flawless. The feel is incredible and makes you realize how far the recycling tech and adaptive reusability of waste plastic has evolved. Nonetheless my decision was not based on any of these. I was drawn to them to support the ´Breast Cancer Awareness´ initiative. Now I feel proud twice!
