With an upper so revamped that it could pass for a completely new product, the adidas Free Hiker C.RDY hiking boots update the Free Hiker series’ excellent performance for those days when humidity and cold hit hardest.
The 3-stripes brand blends a GORE-TEX® layer with an advanced high-cut design that seals the foot completely at the ankles, resulting in total insulation from cold and moisture that will keep your feet dry and safe at all times. A sealed zipper runs across the center of the instep to the high neck to ensure that wearing these boots is comfortable enough without reducing support, while abundant TPU reinforcements along the toe and midfoot increase durability and protection
The Free Hiker series fans will be pleased to know that the legendary Continental™ rubber outsole continues to provide phenomenal traction on rugged terrain. The boost™ midsole, on the other hand still has the smooth, competent cushioning that gave worldwide renown to it.

Without doubt the most comfortable footwear I have ever put on my feet. They are also extremely warm and waterproof, which is a claim many others have claimed, to which I have found out the hard way not to be the case.

Incredibly comfy, warm that everyone else said etc etc, and just so light and comfy. My first pair the sole did peel a bit at the back but when I complained, they took them back and sent a new one and I’m still more than happy with them and for comfort and style combo, they are defo the best!

A very robust, well-fitted, waterproof and warm pair of hiking trainers. I don´t want to wear the shoes of a 50-year old man, and these are perfect. I would advise going half a size up to accommodate for hiking socks/thicker socks.

Holy Grail and boot spring to mind. These boots are quite simply exceptional . I rarely write reviews but it is only fair to give this product a serious HIGH5. Solid feel with the added joy of cloud stomping adidas technology. My favourite dog walking boot by far. These have replaced very expensive wellies. Go 1/2 size up. I love these boots.

The boots are stealthy and I can wear them for most outdoor activities, specially with boost support. Cosy inner sock kept me dry on heavy rain days across field and forest walks. Heel and ankle support was great on uneven or slippery surfaces. I was also able to do short bursts of running on a field with my dog as the shoes were light and flexible. It was easy to clean. The size fits perfectly for normal socks, but if you are wearing thicker socks for hiking, I recommend getting half a size up.

Received the boots in November 2022. I have a size 45 1/3. I took 46. Fit me perfectly. But at first it was inconvenient to put on shoes because of the inner sock. Got used to it after a week. The shoes fit perfectly! I recommend to everyone!

These performed very well until I went walking through longer grass on a day when rain ran down my trousers onto the front of the boot. Water egressed through the zip. Oh and it takes an age for the uppers to dry after wear Everything else about the boot is great. Just don’t expect it to be fully waterproof

Of all the Terrex shoes I´ve owned, these are definitely the ultimate. Boost sole, Goretex, insulated and the sock liner hugs your feet. Yet the are very light, thou feel solid. I´ve tested them on a wet boggy mountain path, my feet remained dry and warm. Great grip. Wasn´t sure of the no lace design, they felt a bit tight the first few days, but seemed to mould around your feet. I will actually be looking forward to testing them in the snow this winter.

I love these trainers and I truly found them so comfortable, my only issue is I found it bit hard to put on due to second layer inside the shoe, would be much easier using a horn but other than that they fine. My other concern is how long these would last due to the thin solebut then you can´t have it all , confort and durability. I wish Adidas would make the sole bit thiker instead of the so much think cushioning.

I got the black with orange shoes originally and thought they were superb. They keep my feet warm and toasty even just standing about and my feet are usually like blocks of ice. Great comfort from the boost and the goretex speaks for itself. Ended up buying the olive ones a year later as I love everything about these shoes and wanted a back up pair in case I wear away the soles by wearing them too much. Even bought a pair of these for my girlfriend aswell.

The were slipper comfortable from the first try on. I´ve walked a lot over various terrain and they are great. So good in fact, I´ve ordered a second pair in black! I usually but 11´s as I have wide feet so 10´s tend to be too narrow. The 11 UK for me was a perfect fit.

Order the same size as my other two ultra boost 20 shoes (uk 9.5) but mind i like it bigger so could wear cushion shocks. It was stiff first time wearing it but then its get soft and comfy after 3 days of wearing. The insulation and waterproof is real. Tried it couples of time. Perhaps to improve the quality which there are customers who like no shoelace but like a high boots, try put on a strap rather than all zipped up, cus it was so tight to the ankle and makes it harder to walk. So i´m wearing it only 3/4 zipped, nothing wrong with that just not so nice to see. Make more colour next time.

Best boots I’ve owned! Went for 0.5 smaller than the size of shoe I normally fit after ordering 2 sizes just in case. Only because you don’t have laces like you would usually so need to allow of a bit of stretch once they’re bedded in.

Pro - A very comfortable shoe fits perfectly and of superior quality. Contra - ( to say something ) , I normally use a 40 2/3 and in this case seeing the comments I decided to buy a 41 1/3 and I was right . It is true that the shoe is a bit tight, it is a bit difficult to put the foot in but once inside it fits like a glove. My opinion is that you ask for one more number.

The pair is an improved version of the Terrex Free Hiker GTX, the inner collar is almost the same, with a waterproof outer coating to face the cold. The size seems just right, at least in terms of length, however the outer shell tightens a little, or at least keeps the foot firmly without any penetration of the cold. Basically, I recommend this pair which I find great, very comfortable once you get used to it.
