This is the new CAMALOT C 4 1 friend cracker for scalding and mountaineering, it is a reliable, high quality and resistant equipment manufactured with the highest market standards.
It has an improved stem in terms of size and flexibility, it is very easy to use even with gloves. This protection device has four cams of high performance and much lighter.
Both the cam and stem are designed to save up to 10% of their weight. It has a double axis so it can be used passively if it is left open.
The world’s best-selling, most trusted cam just got better. The new, redesigned Camalot C4 has now upped the ante, considering it’s 10% lighter yet just as durable as before. Plus, it features a modern design that improves on the old tried-and-true Camalots. The cam’s lobes are lighter and more sculpted, optimized for strength to weight, while the slings have a visual update for easier differentiation when racking. And speaking of racking, we’re introducing a new innovative trigger keeper on sizes #4, #5, and #6, that keeps the big guys contracted for compact racking and immediately release when you’re ready to place. We’ve also widened the trigger as well for better handling.

Good friends, a little heavier than Wild Country, but the cams live a little longer. Inexpensive and durable. The new iteration has become lighter, which is good news. It is a pity that the loop is still quite thick and does not lengthen.

Outstanding product. Love Black Diamond cams. I use C4 cams over the ultralight cams for the price and the longer lifespan. Carrying a little extra weight on bigger missions does impact slightly however I have never had any issues with cams. Holds well in all types of rock. Even in icy conditions I was pleased with performance.
