Great comfortable product for those colder climates, I would however say the double stitching is a weak point that the medium and lightweight don't share.

Unlike the lightweight and medium weight Buff, the heavy weight is much less versatile, but great as a neck warmer!

Unsure whether the medium weight neck buff will hold in the heat in the dead of winter, I bought a heavy weight one as well. The heavy weight is much thicker it keeps me toasty even in extreme cold weather.
