Although I have to say that I have not used it yet, in principle it does not disappoint in terms of form: It is a crossing ice ax that approaches the technical, by the shape of its blade and the sharp tip. The upper profile of the blade starts being thinner at the tip and widens slightly as it approaches the cross, to make the grip more comfortable, and the toothed side measures 5 mm. of thickness (there are other ice axes with 3 mm leaves that supposedly penetrate better in the ice to be thinner). The shape of the handle, could be said to be hexagonal rounded. The main disadvantages that I see: in the holes of the blade and shovel does not fit a climbing carabiner, although these are often used in the regatón and there it fits. And the blade is very narrow (seen from above, it is practically a T formed by the upper edge of the cross and the scarce blade of the blade) and to remove snow a blade with more surface should be better. What has been said, a crossing ice ax with slight technical pretensions.
