We present the new FLODA hiking backpack which is extremely comfortable for trips within the city. Constructed for greater durability over time and resistance in polyamide reinforced with 1000D nylon.

Manufactured in recycled fabrics approved by bluesing, makes it a conscious option to protect the environment. It has a very spacious and comfortable main compartment. Internally it has an ideal cover to protect your laptop and an organizer to store your belongings.

For greater functionality and practicality, it has a rubber buckle to lock the keys. Its main zipper is protected by a flap. A versatile day pack that functions well in the wilderness, but is ideally suited to your daily commute.

The durable water repellent action of our PFC-free DWR treatments comes from a hydrocarbon based, silicone based and/or wax based technology instead of fluorinated chemical.

Irrespective of the ‘active ingredient´, all PFC-free DWR treatments used are totally free from all perfluorinated chemicals (PFC) (of course including both perfluorooctanesulfonic acid (PFOS) and perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA)), free from other halogenated substances and free from alkylphenolethoxylates, including nonylphenolethoxylates.

The possible drawbacks are that the oil repellency and the durability of the PFC-free DWR treatments may be slightly lower than for a PFCcontaining option and therefore re-treatment for water repellency may be necessary at an earlier point in time.

In all, we use very good, environmentally friendly alternatives to PFC-containing DWR treatments.
