The result of this important cooperation is the bolt-on and minimal crampons that ensure the excellent performance of the Ice Dragon and Dry Dragon climbing shoes in every situation:
- Stiff and light Dry crampon, ideal for mixed climbing, dry tooling and competitions.
- T-Dry crampon, innovative, minimal, ultra lightweight crampon, specifically developed for Total-Dry use on rock.
- The protective full rand is made of a polyurethane component providing increased abrasion-resistance to the boot.
- Easy to close, it prevents water from getting inside the boot and fits foot and ankle in the most ergonomic way.
- A special configuration of the lacing system combined with a specific internal finishing and padding constitute the Heel Retention technology. Due to extra stiffness of the carbon sole, a special Heel Retention System is required. When pulling the laces to close the shoe, a fabric tapes system helps keeping the heel in place from the back. In addition, the liner in the heel area features a “scratchy” effect preventing the heel from slipping out of the shoe. The result: an extremely precise and secure fit in action.
