A technical mountain boots La Sportiva G2 is a flexible, comfortable, hiking and high intensity mountain training boots designed for everyone who is a alpinist to the core. This versatile boot provides maximum comfort, stability and traction in varied weather conditions and rugged terrain.
The high tenacity Nylon upper improves breathability and comfort, the Slip-on construction reduces extra unnecessary weight and acts as a sock without any compression. Thanks to the Vibram Matterhorn sole with Impact Brake System enables the shoe to penetrate into the ground creating good friction and grip against the wet rocks while you are trail running.
The Flex zone at the back of the ankle allows flexibility and ergonomic freedom, while Integrated stretch gaiter keep out trail debris such as grit and leaves and offers high breathability while you are on the go. This is the shoe 90% of the Sherpa's wear in Nepal, they all have the old model G2 SM, this is the new version, highly recommended, and that BOA system is amazing, so easy to tighten the boots ,Always wear these fantastic boots with you summit socks, depends on if you wear 1 layer, 2 layer or 1 thick layer, I bought 42.5 and it fits me perfect, My normal shoe size is 42 and I know 43 is always big but thanks to tradeinn I bought 42.5 which no other retailer has in the UK, fast delivery to UK in 5 working days. Thank you.

Great for high-altitude mountaineering up to 7000m, for ice climbing and technical mountaineering. They hold the foot very well, which makes them comfortable both to climb dry rocks in boots and in crampons. In terms of temperature, a man normally has enough up to about -20 degrees. I do not recommend it for cold seven-thousanders like Pobeda Peak - something warmer is better.

Went half size up from my usual trainer size to find the right fit. The boots are very warm (no cold feet at -28degC) and very precise for climbing (used on WI5). Boa lacing system is excellent. My only criticism is that the front of the boot across the ankle is stiff so when the ankle is Doris-flexed (eg going uphill on easy/moderate terrain) there is a lot of pressure on the ankle which could be uncomfortable if doing this for a long period. I have got around this by adding in the removal tongue from my Nepal Cubes.

They are my first boots!! He is a little confused with the size, in the end I chose a size 1+! And it's great with a winter sock, they look good on me! Just need to try them in winter!! What a win I have!! Previously I had the nepal extreme and my big mistake was getting the same size and it overtightened me, this time I chose 1 size more and it was great!

Good boot, with the BOA system it is very easy to adjust, they keep the temperature and protect well from humidity. It's a double boot, but it actually has 3 layers: the inner boot, the boot, and the gaiter. I previously wore La Sportiva Spantik boots. The G2 Evo are much warmer and lighter!

When it arrived I was surprised by how light it is for a double boot, the boa system on the outside helps a lot to adjust it quickly even with gloves, they improved the Velcro of the previous model, personally I don't use them in close-ups because the rock wears out the sole very quickly, I prefer to load them and only use them in snow and glacier, they provide very good temperature, at no time was I cold in mountains of 6000 meters.

What size will be better? i checked Spantik 42eur and its huge, 40eur is small. I also checked La sportiva Olympus mons 41eur and it was sooo huge also with 2 socks i have a slim feet 24.5 sm and gonna use it on 7000m summit with 2 pair of socks

I have 26.5 quite narrow feet and I bought 42. I first bought 41 but they were too small with thick socks. 42 is ok, I might have preferred a 41.5 but better a little too big than a little too small, you can control with a sole or extra sock. I did a 7k top with a pair of thick socks, no problem with the cold.

If your normal size is 39EUR, then at 7000m it is recommended to take G2 Evo 41EUR or even 41.5. Because on long descents it is possible to stomp your toes. Also one of the best climbers in Russia (Ratmir Mukhametzyanov) has a normal 39, and G2Evo uses 41.5.

Hello. This boot is double. It works for any mountain of 6,000 m or more. It is also useful for winter ascents in which you must have your feet for hours in the snow. Obviously they are good for Aconcagua, but I have seen photos in which people reach its summit with simple high mountain boots.
