Thanks to the suede leather upper with microfibres that offers great deal of stability, flexibility and comfort during the mountain abuse and climbing. Also, the Vibram XS grip 2 on the sole enables the shoe to penetrate into the ground creating good friction and grip against the wet rocks while you are trail running or climbing mountains. A climbing shoe devised for long mountain routes and cracks: its technical features make this model an complete newcomer to the market! TC Pro guarantees maximum comfort even after several hours thanks to the soft internal padding at the ankle and back. Features include high cut uppers designed to protect the ankle from rubbing against cracks. The front rubber rand offers further protection in the cracks, while the lacing system to the toe has been studded to protect the laces against rock fiction. The uppers and tongue are extremely breathable which enhances comfort. TC Pro uses the P3 patent system, designed to maintain the arched shape of the shoe even after continued use. The sole, made from the new Vibram compound, reduces deformation on small and sharp cutting holds.

I bought according to the size table of the manufacturer, based on the length of the foot. The size approached. TC Pro are comfortable and light, made in Italy (not China). There is snow on the rocks now, so we'll have to wait for spring. :(

Best crack climbing shoe

This is the best shoe for crack climbing. I have two pairs, 44.5 strictly for crack climbing. My toes lay flat and is perfect for jamming your toes into thin cracks without too much pain. Also, 43.5 for crack/trad climbing. The 43.5 is a bit tighter which makes it great for a mix of crack and edging that I use mostly on granite climbing. For size comparison, my street shoe size is 45. These will stretch about a half a size after about a month of use. I have had both pairs for three years and have been re-soled several times and they still perform well. The rubber has peeled away from the top of the toe box before, but was easily fixed with a little super glue and gave it another 8 months of life before it needed to be repaired again. In Indian Creek, these shoes are affectionately known as “Air Tommies” because they are so popular.

Sizing: try on in a store first. I bought a size that would fit snug without socks. Loving the fit now. Comfort: Comfortable enough for multi pitch but not personally as comfortable for me as my la sportiva mythos. Edging: Excellent edging abilities. This is the shoe to wear for those pushing themselves on more difficult multi pitch climbs. Final note: I have the tc pros, the mythos, and the tx4s (approach shoe). I climb in all three. The route dictates which to wear. La Sportiva knows what's up with climbing shoes! #getoffyourphoneanddosomething #climbon

Indeed there is only a crack, sole of moderate hardness is good. Because it covers up to ankle, you can put a big time leg to crack. Shoes that I should have bought it sooner.
