These leather boots are perfect for mountain tours, hikes and via ferrata. The Vibram outsole provides excellent grip with low weight. The hard-wearing upper material is made from sustainable terracare® leather from Germany and a PFC-free Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish that keeps your feet dry. The Kento Advanced High GTX is super breathable, for continued comfort even after you put your feet up in your cabin.

Waterproofing:
- In the rain, snow, or on that one muddy section of trail, you want your feet to stay dry. Waterproof shoes use special materials and technologies according to their intended use, which prevent moisture from penetrating, while your shoe remains breathable.

Grip:
- Shoes with good grip do not slip, even in wet conditions. They offer grip, adhesion and traction on different surfaces. The grip is influenced by the rubber blend, sole structure and tread depth on firm trails a low profile tread is suitable, on mixed or challenging terrain you are best advised to go for a deep sole tread.

Cushioning:
- Cushioning indicates how well a midsole absorbs shock. More cushioning reduces stress on joints and muscles and increases comfort. Less cushioning allows for more direct contact with the ground, and therefore faster and more accurate reactions.

Stability:
- Stability is needed first and foremost to keep your ankles from twisting. The more difficult and steeper the terrain, the more important it becomes. When touring with heavy loads, good protection is an advantage.
