A wonderfully lightweight hiking boot that combines many of the features that a nature lover desires: A flexible and grippy vibram® Frog Grip sole combined with a soft EVA wedge midsole provides grip and provides very good cushioning. The inner lining provides you with pleasant comfort by 3D Memo Foam. The terracare® leather, which is manufactured in Germany, ensures stability and waterproofness. The integrated Gore-Tex® Performance Comfort Footwear ensures lasting waterproofness with maximum breathability. Its innovative construction makes Mercury III Low GTX Men the ideal solution for a variety of outdoor activities and weather conditions. Just slip in and try it out!

The processed on the Mammut shoes soft shell textile is shoe-specific robust, abrasion-resistant and water-repellent, without losing the good soft shell properties (high breathability, windproof, water repellency, elasticity).
3D memo foam
High-quality padding foam, which ensures an individual fit and cushions the foot at the instep, shin and ankle. The foam has a very high elasticity and resumes its original shape even after intensive use.
Rolling Concept
Sole concept developed following orthopedic findings: Reduces sole weight, supports and dampens specific foot zones, optimizes natural rolling behavior and therefore reduces fatigue and the risk of kinking.

Those who like to hike will be very happy about these hiking shoes. A light and comfortable shoe, sole with very good properties. I ordered the shoes bigger, my shoe size is 43, the Mammut 44/23 I bought because I like to wear thick stockings! :) Very comfortable, and not too big, with the laces you can easily adjust whether the shoe is tight on the foot or loosely want. Only to be recommended!

I bought a pair of Mercury III Mid GTX Men shoes in May 2019 for a 15 day hike. After a few hours of rain, my feet were bathing. Impossible to dry the shoes quickly, the humidity stays inside for several days, no details on the smell. I made the remark to the after-sales service of the manufacturer thinking of a manufacturing defect, since sealing is an advanced selling point. Without explanation, he proceeded to an exchange. I come back from a week of hiking with the new pair. A few hours of fine rain got the better of the pseudo waterproofing. It’s really a shame because his shoes suit me perfectly. They are suitable for wide feet (provide a size above the usual size), have good cushioning and take off very easily.
