The all-leather SUPER TRIDENT GTX is the only mid-cut member of the Trident family. Protected by a waterproof Membrane GORE-TEX®® , it already enjoys cult status as the first boot to be selected by the Chamonix Guides Company! The guides even wear it on their annual celebration in the town, on August 15. Its popular for the precision of its forefoot (the outsole is inspired by approach shoes, with a front climbing zone) and for its quasi running style back section, with the comfort of its stabilizing, cushioning Trident heel.

I tried them on several routes on an easy path and I was very happy, comfortable, soft shoe although at first it bothered me a little back on my foot because it is low. Also the sole could be a little better in terms of traction. Generally it looks good.

Very good trekking boot. Sole with good grip on rock, good protection against blows with stones, enough for possible snow sections, either with crampons or snowshoes. Comfortable, holds ankles well, rigid but not excessively.

In use for 4 days in the dolomites hike engaged, I am for the moment satisfied with these shoes. I took the size corresponding to my usual size and they are comfortable. No compression point, good support and good grip on the field. Purchase too recent to talk about the reliability of the product.
