I had great fears when after years I had to replace my well-fitting Salomon, which has slowly dissolved. The choice fell on the Montura Tre Cime EVO because, according to everything I've read, it best covers my range of uses (high-altitude tours, occasionally via ferrata). Long-term experience is still missing, but the first impression is a very firm sole, a firm and comprehensive stone chip protection and nevertheless a pleasantly soft and light wearing comfort. In the ankle area, the shaft is rather soft, but still ok. The tongue is a bit fiddly, but that's probably a matter of getting used to.
