The Osprey Talon 26L backpack is designed for hikers and bikers so its main characteristics are focused on offering comfort, stable mobility, breathability, lightness, and a total capacity for 30 liters for an excursion of one day.
This 30l backpack is made from recycled nylon, which is a durable and resistant to wear material, that makes it ideal on technical terrains, and the waterproof treatment is responsible for guaranteeing that your items inside keep dry. It features an AirScape back with EVA foam that offers a comfortable and soft fit. The shoulder straps and lumbar belt are padded and breathable and they are made with BioStretch technology that facilitates mobility.
Its design includes access for the main compartment with a zipper, a frontal mesh pocket, an internal ring for keys, an internal mesh pocket, and zippered pocket in the lumbar belt that also comes padded. This trekking backpack incorporates external access to hydration pocket, sternum strap with emergency whistle, side compression straps, reflective details, the anchor point for a LED light, and hooks for a piolet.
The Talon is the perfect choice whether you are going to crown peaks or if you prefer to do a bike route.
This lightweight backpack includes a body-hugging, breathable AirScape ™ backrest and shoulder straps and hipbelt that wrap around the body to accompany your movements.

An important difference between the 22 and 26 liter Talon is that the 26L has more of a bucket style opening, which in my opinion makes it easier to pack. You do miss the helmet holder, but I don't think that's such a loss

I’ve bought Osprey packs previously and I’ve always been a little disappointed by one feature or another. Usually for cosmetic reasons and they have always been a little too stiff. Not so with this pack, it’s great. Soft but not too soft, flexible and very light. Used it within a couple of days of receipt and once adjusted correctly it was great and I hardly knew I was wearing it. Lots of good features and very practical. Also a great price from Trekkinn… swift delivery too. Very happy.

Can someone please tell me what the difference is between size SM and size L-XL? does the capacity change? Thank you

Above all, the fit changes, so based on your height it is better to choose one size or the other. You can find information on how to measure on the Osprey website. Furthermore, the capacity also changes slightly, 26L in the L-XL size and 24L in the SM size.

The difference is the back length and not the content, the L-XL is for taller people and the SM for people with a shorter back.

In fact yes, the S/M displays 24 L. Please note, it is recommended to take a bag adapted to your body type. The S/M is suitable for a back ranging from 43 cm to 51 cm. The L/XL is suitable for a back of 48 cm to 56 cm. The back is measured from the iliac crest to the C7 vertebra. See the diagram on the Osprey website: 17" (43cm) - 18" (46cm): S/M. 19" (48cm) - 20" (51cm): S/M or L/XL. 21" (53cm) - 22" (56cm): L/XL.
