Care:

Inflation:
- First time use:
- Detach the straps and unroll the mat
- Fully open the valve Given the core foam has been compressed since production it may be ,necessary to aid inflation by blowing air into the mat by mouth in Air Tight position
- The mat reaches the level of support you require

Regular use:
- Open the valve(s) and roll out the mat
- The foam will expand and self inflate within two-five minutes depending on its thickness and the time it has been stored compressed
- Close the valve(s) when the desired firmness has been reached. If you want to increase support blow air through the valve by mouth
- Mats more than 5cm thick may feel hard. We recommend you lie on the mat after inflation and adjust firmness by opening a valve to remove air
- Close the valve quickly. once you reach your preferred comfort level.

Deflation / packing of your self-inflating mat:
- To deflate open the valve(s) and roll the mat towards its valves to remove air
- When the mattress is fully rolled close the valve(s) and fit the hook and loop retention straps . Some thicker mats, and especially double models that fold to fit inside a carry bag, can seem hard to roll. We suggest:
- Folding the matt three-four times to squeeze out most of the air
- Close the valves and fold the mat lengthwise
- With less air present it will be easier to now roll the mattress tightly towards the valves. Any trapped air can be removed
- Attach the hoop and loop straps.

Storage:
- We recommend that a mat should be stored for extended periods fully inflated and with the valve open. This retains the foam’s memory, allowing quick inflation when next used. It also maintains the mat’s integrity by allowing trapped moisture to escape.

Caution:
- Do not to leave the mat inflated with closed valves inside the tent on hot days. Air inside the mat will expand when the temperature increase and the high pressure may cause the fabric to delaminate from the foam. Open the valve(s) when the mat is not in use.
