AVEN is a comfortable, durable harness designed for caving. The foam-backed waistbelt and wider leg loop straps ensure comfort during long vertical ascents and descents in caving. The TPU-reinforced leg loops and the HMPE gear loops and attachment points make this harness extremely durable. The attachment points are positioned as low as possible in order to make rope ascents easier and more efficient. It is equipped with six gear loops, two slots for a CARITOOL tool holder, and a bag tether attachment loop for transport and organization of gear.

- Closed-cell foam waist belt prevents water absorption and keeps the harness comfortable throughout its lifetime

- Leg loop buckles are positioned between the legs to limit the risk of snagging in narrow passages Reinforced for durability:
- Leg loops reinforced with thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) for greater resistance to abrasion

- High-strength polyester webbing retains smooth adjustment qualities over time

- Rope ascent efficiency is optimized, thanks to the lower position of the attachment points
- Three gear loops on each side, for transport and organization of a large amount of gear
- Two slots for CARITOOL tool holder
- Differently colored safety stitching, for easy identification of harness size (yellow stitching for Size 1, black stitching for Size 2)
- Loop in high-modulus polyethylene (HMPE) for tethering a bag

It looks really good, although I haven't had the option to use it yet. At first glance it seems a lot more comfortable than my fractio, but we will have to see. The color is a little more garish than in the photo.

The harness is very light, compact, takes up little space, sits comfortably, there are loops for attaching equipment. So far, it has not been possible to test it in practice. Delivery to Russia in Khakassia took 25 days.

Hello, the product (:PETZL AVEN harness) is indeed available on your site, it apparently exists in two sizes: 1 and 2. But your site does not specify what these 2 possibilities correspond to: ´1´ and ´2´. Is it S and M, M and L, L and XL..? It is not indicated. Thanks in advance,

For information, I measure 1.80m for 70 kg. My waist circumference is 85 cm. I took size 1 and it´s perfect for me. Size 1: Waist circumference 60-85 cm Thigh circumference 42-62 cm weight: 465 g Size 2: Waist circumference 80-102 cm Thigh circumference 52-72 cm weight: 520 g

Hello, I have a question about the Petzl brand AVEN harness. You offer it in 2 sizes, but unfortunately you don´t put what (S, M, L, XL..?) each of the proposals corresponds to (1 or 2). In the size guide, the AVEN harness does not appear. For my part I would need a size M, but I do not know if it corresponds to your size 1 or 2 proposed. Can you give me a clear answer and correct this problem on this site so that I can place an order? Thanks

For the choice of sizes, the answer can be found on the Petzl website. Size 1: Thigh circumference 42 to 62 cm / Waist circumference 60 to 85 cm Size 2: Thigh circumference 52 to 72 cm / Waist circumference 80 to 102 cm
