The Flare -25 is an extra-warm, professional-grade down sleeping bag with optimised performance cut, designed for high-alpine expedition and mountaineering use. The Flare -25 is recommended by mountain professionals for drier conditions, where minimal volume and lightweight warmth are paramount. The durable 95/5 (95% down/ 5% feather) goose down fill has a very high fill power of 750+ cuin and a box chamber construction which makes it well suited to temperatures down to -25°C. The down has been treated with a special technology based on silver chloride to make it odour-resistant, even on longer expeditions. It also requires less frequent washing. In addition, to protect the down fill, both the ripstop outer fabric and soft inner lining have been given a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish.
It has a full-length, two-way YKK zip with an anti-catch flap and draft tube that can be coupled with another compatible sleeping bag, or opened up wide like a blanket. It also has a functionally cut lid, pre-shaped thermo collar and snug-fit, ergonomic foot section with a separate zip. All drawcords are easy to operate single-handed. For body lengths up to 190 cm.
