The Salomon Out Week 38 + 6 is a hiking backpack with capacity for 38 liters and expandable 6 liters more in its removable cover, where you can perfectly fit clothes, food, hydration and climbing accessories, insured with zippers, for a week of hiking.
It is made of various synthetic fabrics such as polyester and polyamide that favor the ventilation inside this trekking backpack. In addition, its Motion Fit harness system on the back, shoulder pads and belt makes that you feel very comfortable and with enough breathability so you do not sweat on the way.
This mountain backpack of medium capacity is compatible with hydration systems, so it has an elastic front pocket for a drum and an inner sheath for a hydration bag and its hook.
Another characteristic of the Salomon Out Weel 38 + 6, which we appreciate a lot, is that it includes supports for the canes and piolets. With its compression side belts and an adjustable chest belt, you can adapt it to your back and avoid it from moving through the travel.

Quick and neat delivery. The salomon one week bag offers plenty of storage space and seems to be of high quality. Very light bag, it will be a great bag for treks. The color is very pretty, very good salomon product!

great concept and execution. having, features that other sacks lack. will most probably replace my osprey stratos 50 bag. is a very good bag wand well made, but the out week is more then 50% lighter, more stretchy so easier to fill, has a good solution for access to your gear without the need to unload the full bag for stuff at the bottom. i do like the integrated spot for soft flasks. makes it easier to drink during the trek without bulky bladders occupying premium space in the bag. nice close fit harness.

The product is really very light and malleable, it initially gives the impression that it is fragile. I haven't done a load test yet. But as I handle it, it proves to be more adaptable to the body and comfortable. In addition to having a size suitable for my needs.

Tried it on a 3 day hike, everything is working great and i simply love it. Since it is lightweight bag, you are supposed to load it with lightweight gear. Only issue is, that when I have more water, the hip belt is quite thin. So in the end of the day, hips can be a little bit irritated. But you can wrap buff, or whatever to prevent that.

This product is great. I red all the reviews on the internet (there were not many though, since it was introduced to the marked only recently) and I was afraid about the carry system comfort. It is lightweight backpack, so you should pack it with lightweight gear. I am using it on my 3 day trips with up to 6 kg of stuff and it is great. Only small downside I see is the hip belt is thin. When I carry the pack with some water, what means additional weight, it might be irritating at the end of the day, when I am hiking only in t-shirt. But I already tried some easy workarounds with buffs, etc and worked well. Overall 5 stars rating so far.

Bag really very light, rather well accessorized, very nice color. The counterpart is that the fabric is quite messy and especially fragile, forbidden to rub rocks at risk of tearing likely. In addition, the wearing comfort is average, the bag tending, despite careful adjustments, from the back. Better not to overload it, 10 kg seems a maximum.

No doubt its weight advantage, I do not like that if it is empty it has no support structure, and it becomes difficult to fill it. It is comfortable even being so light and not practically having foam in the straps. At the moment I did a 3-day trekking with 10kg inside and quite well. They miss more straps and anchors, they fall short if you want to take off ice ax, cacsco crampons etc ...

I purchased this backpack for the Camino de Santiago. It is undoubtedly the lightest I've found, with the same capacity, and has the convenience of opening up like a trolley. I find it very convenient even to hold him on his shoulder, but I only tried it at home with a load of 5 kg. Also the adjustment of the straps is easy, the shoulder straps are not very padded but well positioned, for my female shoulders with a size 42, as well as the lumbar supports, suitable for female hips. Maybe after doing 800 km I will know more, for now I'm satisfied.

The weight of this new bag is certainly one of his best arguments (less than 900g). Some interesting technical elements such as the frontal opening system by zipper of the main compartment or the drawstring of the top of the bag which can be manipulated with one hand. The elastic straps carry sticks seem pretty fragile and are always a mystery to me when it comes to how to use them. Few opportunities to graft accessories on the straps. The side pockets on the lap belt are placed very far back which makes their access difficult. The settings to adjust the portage to its morphology are quite limited, the thickness of the foam on the shoulder straps is quite low and there are some hard points of the lumbar foam that affect comfort. On the other hand, I appreciate that this bag stays very close to the body. It will be necessary in my opinion to reserve it for a maximum load of 10 Kg
