The Salomon Techamphibian 4 shoes come to repower the characteristics of the amphibian model with technologies that allow an excellent performance in multi-sports activities.
The sole of these shoes are guaranteed with the Contagrip seal; they also have a protective toe and in the heel have a belt for better grip and support of the foot.
The upper of the Salomon Techamphibian 4 is ultra-waterproof mesh for quick drying and anti-particles that avoid that the powder entering inside.
The lacing system is Quicklace. whose laces are so thin that they prevent them from becoming entangled or broken in the different environments where you will run.
The best thing of this Salomon shoe is its openings in the heel which gives ventilation and rest to the foot.

good light amphibian shoes, only down bit since you wear them barefoot some of the seams rub hard against your toes and the shoes start to smell real easy!

Wore it for a three week trips include beaches, river crossing, kayak, day hikes and city strolling. On the train, in the bus. Just perfect all around shoe for travel. Not very practical to use as a slip on, as it lack of heel stop to make walking natural without proper grip on ground.

My experience started with Techamphibian 3 with an exceptional result. In summer I always use it, it is my shoe of normal use, fresh, breathable and quick drying. The Techamphibian 4 exceeds expectations as drying is super fast, so excursions to the Pyrenees pass quietly through the streams and soon it is dry. I use special templates and it behaves first. The template does not move. I will use them as secondary shoes to make the road to Santiago and they will surely go first.

Tested for several days on the Via Francigena. Comfortable both on asphalt and on ground and uneven paths, always giving excellent adherence and keeping the foot cool. Perfect to alternate with trekking shoes.
