These hiking shoes have Descent Control technology that offers better performance in the most difficult descents. The High Traction Contagrip sole incorporates two types of rubber in the heel, where its reticulated lines increase the grip, control, and flexibility in rocky, wet or dry surfaces.
Between the injected EVA midsole and the sole, the technicians of Salomon placed an Advanced Chassis that gives you stability and cushioning in the jumps, reducing the fatigue in those more rugged spaces.
Among other highlight characteristics of the Salomon X Ultra 3 LTR Goretex, we have an Ortholite insole so the foot stays dry and free of bacteria and fungi, the Sensifit system that molds to the foot to avoid the slips, and an upper with a fabric resistant to water so you do not fear before puddles or rains that you can find in the trail.

Very impressed with my Salomon's. I have a pair of gtx ultra hiking boots and these provide equal comfort and stability but are that bit lighter. Particularly like the supportive cushioing of the insoles and the ease of the speed lacing system. Would recommend you go for a half size above your shoe size for the perfect fit.

Great shoes, I've worn them so much over the past few years the sole is wearing a bit thin so ordered a second pair ready. The laces started to slip slightly after a couple of years or so but can easily be replaced. Great product and delivered pretty quickly even with the Brexit challenges.

For me, Salomon is a reference brand of which I have been a user for many years. The "X Ultra 3 LTR Goretex" are excellent for winter use, whether on hiking trails or in everyday use. They are comfortable, waterproof, well built and with good grip.

i was recommended the old style of the ultra gtx, but took a gamble on the latest editions and having ,worn them extensively for coastal path hikes and dog walking over the last few weeks i have been nothing but impressed. so far the lacing system is efficient and comfortable without report is slipping even on plenty of incline and decline. the waterproof factor was very much one which was key in my search and so far having ,crossed streams and plenty of puddles on my travels they have left my feet absolutely bone dry, amd without any signs of sweating which was a welcome suprise. time will tell on the durability of the shoe, but so far so good!

I have been buying Salomon shoes for my employees (gardening) for several years and nobody wants other shoes, just Salomon. Light, very durable soles that protect the feet work in it from spring to winter. Only replacement shoelaces would be needed, since Salomon shoes are really durable, but shoelaces only have a durability of 60-70%. Yes, only Salomon shoes for my people! :)

The shoes are - as usual from Salomon - in very good quality. I have been wearing them for years and I am very satisfied. However, the shop still has room for improvement. The order was easy and the shoes were delivered quickly. However, if you want an invoice, you can first search the shop for a while, only to find that an "error" always occurs during the download.

The previous model was 5 years old, it's time for an update. The new pair is devoid of previous shortcomings: 1) it became lighter, 2) the GORE-TEX system appeared, 3) the problem with cables was fixed when untying. I really liked Trekinn with the delivery date they made a mistake by only one day, they were supposed to deliver on March 6, delivered on March 7. Delivery time to Russia 11 days by regular mail, the track is tracked. Thank you.

Much lighter than the previous version of this shoe I had and maybe not so good looking for urban wear but a solid choice for walking/hiking. Not seriously tested yet but comfortable, well-made and I expect them to last as well as my previous pair.

So far there are no problems I'm happy I walked on the asphalt, grass, and in the mountains in the gravel and pebbles the shoe cushions well the shots keep the foot warm without sweating (8 hours of walking).

Very good shoe (for my foot!) Soft, fits well foot, comfortable. Only average point, the yaw system, even if there is the little hiding place under the tongue to store the 'over', I prefer conventional laces.
