I wore it for an hour's walk, not yet to go into the mountains for a long outing. It is light and comfortable. I wear a 6 1/2 US and the 38 is perfect. This is my first real pair of mountain boots.

i bought this because i wanted a boot that would be semi-automatic crampon compatible but still flexible enough for the approach. i have used it hiking without crampons and worked comfortably. runs true to size. i am usually size 8 us w, and upsized to eu40 which is a little roomy for thicker socks and to prevent blisters. very comfortable even after hours of use because it doesn't restrict movement like other stiff mountainering boots. good goretex waterproofing and breathability. only downside is not much padding in the sole, which meant i had to insert ,my own insoles. and the archilles heel rubbed a bit if my socks weren't high enough. improved with use as i wore them in. overall, highly recommended!!
