I’m satisfied with the light material which feels strong enough to be durable. The carabiner which is supplied with it is sufficient to keep this spoon organized and attached to your kit. The length is enough for all freeze dried pouches I’ve come to use (even MREs)

I´m pleased with Sea to Summit products again, they are one of my favorite outdoor gear manufacturers. This lightweight and long spoon is very handy when I eat food in bags or use a tall titanium pot 750ml. The STS Alpha Light Long Spoon (12g) is comparable to the popular Toaks Titanium SLV-11 (19g), but it is lighter and has a useful signature mini carabiner, which I love.

Arrived as expected. The carabiner is not very friendly using it with the spoon but you can give it another use since it is very sturdy. The spoon is long enough to use it with jetboils or long canteens (as the stanley ones, or zebra ones) or to cook in an open fire. Lightweight (very) easy to pack. Just keep in mind it will not machine wash (but who needs machine wash in the woods, anyway?)

This spoon is perfect for people like me who cook with jetboil or other portable stoves. Excellent for both trekking and camping, allows you to eat all the food freeze-dried after having heated. Comfortable, light and well made.
