Sea to Summit’s X-Set 11 offers a light and compact solution for making hot meals and drinks in the backcountry. This nesting set includes our 1.3L X-Kettle and two X-Mugs. The innovative X-Kettle collapses to 1 3/8” (35mm) and has a 1-liter safe boiling capacity. A wide base absorbs maximum heat from the stove while protecting the silicone walls. Two glass-reinforced Nylon 66 handles support the upper rim and improve control when pouring. The two X-Mugs nest perfectly inside the Kettle to create an exceptionally compact cook system.

The pot is very convenient, I have been using it for a few months. The water reaches the boil in a short time and is the right capacity to cook a soup outdoors. The silicone closure system is very comfortable and allows for portability in a backpack with minimum bulk. I recommend it to everyone and I am very happy with this purchase. I have been using the kettle for a year now, no complaints. Boils water quickly, convenient lid through which the tea leaves do not pass into the mug. Very compact and lightweight. Mugs can be washed in the dishwasher after the hike, which is also important. Very satisfied!

However, in practice there are shortcomings - you need to carefully handle the mugs, because. they are not rigid and may deform if subjected to excessive force. There is also a specific plastic smell when boiling water enters the dishes. In this regard, the question of security remains open.

I love sea to summit company, I like their philosophy of functional minimalism and working out the smallest details! They took care of customers as if they were themselves. Minimum weight, high-quality and environmentally friendly materials, aesthetic appearance + they take extra small space high quality silicone, BPA free and keeps its shape perfectly, the kettle can be used as a pot for soup or porridge, but now I want to buy a set with x-pot and x-bowl as a bowl. Thanks trekkinn for a nice price and jet shipment. Delivered to Chelyabinsk in 2 weeks
