Since its first release in 2008 the Ultra-Sil® Daypack has impressed users with its incredible strength-to-weight performance. The use of siliconised CORDURA® Nylon and reinforcing bar-tacks at stress points enables the Daypack to carry loads 250x its own weight. In 2017 the Ultra-Sil® Daypack won the prestigious Backpacker Editors’ Choice Gold Award for outstanding innovation in design, materials, and performance. To celebrate we have upgraded the Daypack and brought a new look to the entire Ultra-Sil® bag range.

- Reinforced shoulder straps to reduce bunching up when carrying heavy loads and ergonomically shaped for better fit
- Webbing daisy-chain on front for a bike light
- Made from Ultra-Sil® CORDURA® Nylon with Polyurethane (PU) coating providing a hydrostatic waterhead of 2000mm
- Ultra-Sil® stuff sack with handy aluminium carabiner

Glad he did. This will be an excellent daypack for mountain treks after backpacking in and setting up camp. And will do double-duty as a handy travel daypack that can be carried easily in a jacket pocket.

Very practical in bikepacking as a supplement for shopping. Can withstand a substantial load (1 bottle of wine and 2 liters of water, plus food). Once folded, it is almost invisible. Very practical also on a daily basis in the glove box of the car.

Bought for cycling and hiking as a spare backpack. Very compact. The material is thin, the strength has not been tested. For light temporary cargo, I think just right.

｀ This pack is super light, super compact, super small enough to be packed in its own bag.I haven´t used this pack yet and so I don´t how how sturdy it is, though.
