The Ultra-Sil™ Dry Sack won the sought-after Backpacker Editors´ Choice award in 2006 and is still the ideal dry sack for backpacking and travel. Made with lightweight, waterproof 30D Ultra-Sil™ fabric featuring CORDURA® yarns it´s the perfect choice for modular packing to organize your gear inside your backpack or duffle like a pro. The semi-translucent fabric means that it’s easy to see what’s in each dry bag, and if you´re really organized you´ll make use of multiple color options to find things even easier. Other features include a non-wicking hypalon roll-top closure, a round base for ease of packing and taped seams to keep moisture out. An excellent choice for lightweight backpacking, cycle touring and travel.

Technologies:
30D ULTRA-SIL®:
- An incredibly lightweight yet durable fabric used in a large number of Sea to Summit products. This 30 denier Nylon is made with CORDURA® yarns for strength, woven into a ripstop pattern. Two versions of the fabric are used:
- water-resistant products (such as the Ultra-Sil™ Stuff Sacks) are siliconized on both sides for ultimate packability
waterproof products (such as the UltraSil™ Dry Sack are) siliconized on the outside and PU-coated on the inside to allow seam taping.
- Both versions have a hydrostatic head greater than 2000mm – which makes them more than adequately waterproof for the types of environments they are intended for.
CORDURA®:
- Cordura® is a special type of nylon yarn used for its strength. These yarns are used in two different product areas:
- In the siliconized Ultra-Sil™ fabrics used in Ultra-Sil™ Dry Sacks, Stuff Sacks, Compression Sacks, Pack Covers, Travelling Light and Travel Essentials products In the foot section of the extremely tough eVent® Quagmire Gaiters.

Good laundry bag, very light and transparent, allows you to see what's inside. It was the first bag from this range that I bought but it is very thin and does not convey confidence in terms of resistance like the lightweight ones. To use with clothes inside a backpack it works perfectly, but I wouldn't use it for more …

The 8L Sea To Summit Ultra-Sil Waterproof Bag is very light and can carry a lot of gear inside. It's ideal to combine with a 4L and carry everything you need in your backpack to avoid getting wet. I recommend it because it is very light and resistant.
