The North Face Apex Flex jacket is designed to offer maximum impermeability, breathability, windproof, and elasticity, with exclusive technologies and three layers of materials, fabrics, and treatments, which make it highly resistant to adverse conditions in the mountain.

This hiking jacket is made with FutureLight technology whose resistance to water and wind is superior, the seams are sealed, and provides excellent control of moisture inside, absorbing the sweat. It is made with three layers: recycled polyester, elastane, and a water repellent treatment.

The outside layer is smooth and the polyester makes this waterproof jacket elastic, durable, and dries quickly. It comes with an adjustable hood, Velcro cuffs, and a polyurethane zipper with an internal flap to avoid wind and water from entering.

But this three-layer shell doesn´t feel – or even look – like a shell. The fabric is soft, tactile and with a slight stretch it delivers all-day comfort. Plus, it has a smooth backer that, unlike traditional shell jackets, doesn’t feel cool on bare skin. It features sealed seams, an attached, fully adjustable hood, Velcro® cuffs and internal front zip storm flap to keep wind and rain at bay.
