The North Face has designed the Hydra 38 L RC backpack especially for the female lover of excursions in the mountains for all the weekend, who needs to bring food, hydration, and some clothes to enjoy a few days outside the city, with calm and energy of nature.
This hiking backpack is an all-terrain since has been equipped with 38 liters capacity, 6 pockets, two tool holders, hydration bag, elastic side pockets for drums, and a strap for the breast designed for the female anatomy.
The back panel was made with FlashDry fabric that is highly breathable and expels moisture and sweat. Besides, with the Dyno Lift System, you can adjust this trekking backpack without stopping the walk and with the aluminum T6 structure you have better control of the weight to move easily and freely.

Excellent light and functional hiking backpack

I bought this bag to trek 4 to 7 days in remote areas in full autonomy. I am not a UL packer but try to watch my baseweight to a reasonable minimum. This NorthFace bag replaces a 45 + 10 backpack, as I have recently invested in lighter and more compact sleeping gear. This bag is a comfortable fit when loaded with 8-12kg (a little shaky if lightly loaded). Easy to adjust, just enough padding, snug fit on me (1.61m girl sith a strong frame). The load is carried a little away from your spine due to the ventilation system but it is still close enough to the back and doesn´t induce an awkward feeling that the bag is throwing you around when you move fast or turn your body. As light as advertised: 975gr without the rain cover. Very handy double pockets at the front of the belt, my huge phone fits in, and the other can hold snacks, tube of sunscreen, anti-mosquito lotion etc. without problem. Huge beaver back pocket to store large, quicky access items: I can fit my rain jacket and my Crocs, plus a map. Sizeable side pockets a little hard to reach to for me, but they´re deep, large and useful to put extra water or food for example. When loaded, the bag almost stands upright on its own as it is partially resting on the bottom of its aluminum frame. My only concern is the lightweight outer material´s durability, but time will tell.
