More than just your basic polo: this technical, performance trekking shirt is made from very lightweight, stretchy fabric that was ecologically manufactured in accordance with the stringent bluesign® standard. Ideal for demanding tours in warm regions.

Excellent UV protection so that you can enjoy the sun and mountain sports well protected. A UPF rating of 50+ means that a given piece of fabric allows less than 2% (<1/50) of the UV rays that hit it to penetrate through. This is the same as 98% UV protection. The UV protection is created by the choice of fibers, weave, and material thickness or by inserting a titanium dioxide “protective screen” into the fabric. Titanium dioxide is completely environmentally friendly and has been rated by the EU as harmless.
Green Shape is VAUDEs quality seal for products that are especially produced environmentally friendly. The criteria is strict: only products that contain at least 90% organic cotton, recycled materials, or the Tencel® wood fiber, or have been dyed with the environmentally friendly VAUDE eColour process, or meet the worlds most stringent environmental standard bluesign® may carry the Green Shape quality seal.

All environmental aspects of production are evaluated at the screening: water and air emissions, noise levels, energy and material use, as well as working conditions related to dangerous materials.
