PrimaLoft®:
- In this product we use a new type of PrimaLoft® insulation with plant based down. The large fruits of the kapok tree contain fluffy, lightweight and silky fibers that look like cotton wool. These biobased fibers provide excellent heat storage and moisture management. PrimaLoft® Silver Insulation Natural Blend is made of 30 % kapok and 70 % PrimaLoft® ultra fine fibers of which two thirds come from post-consumer recycled PET bottles to conserve fossil resources. It keeps you warm, dries quickly, is easy to care for, long-lasting and preserves our planet’s limited resources.

Vaude:
- Vaude uses recycled materials (e.g. from PET-bottles) in the manufacture of this product. This saves up to 50% in energy and CO2 emissions as well as fossil raw materials.

Eco Finish:
- This product features our water repellent Eco Finish. Applied to the surface of your VAUDE product, it causes rainwater to simply bead up on the surface – without the use of environmentally-harmful fluorocarbons (PFC). Eco Finish protects you from the rain and helps keep nature clean.
