Applied to the surface of your VAUDE product, it causes rainwater to simply bead up on the surface – without the use of environmentally-harmful fluorocarbons (PFC). - In this product we use a new type of PrimaLoft® insulation with plant based down. The large fruits of the kapok tree contain fluffy, lightweight and silky fibers that look like cotton wool. PrimaLoft® Silver Insulation Natural Blend is made of 30 % kapok and 70 % PrimaLoft® ultra fine fibers of which two thirds come from post-consumer recycled PET bottles to conserve fossil resources.
