Cocona:
Activated carbon particles derived from sustainably grown coconut shells are embedded into CoconaTM fibers, providing the wearer with three functional advantages: 1. UV protection. Harmful UVA and UVB rays are absorbed, giving CoconaTM fabrics a sun protection factor of 50+. 2. Odor reduction: Odor molecules are ´trapped´ by the pores in the activated carbon. The OAV value (odor absorption value) as measured by the American standard has earned the highest rating of ´very good´. 3. Evaporative cooling. Activated carbon particles within the fabric absorb sweat and distribute it over a large surface area. Sweat moisture evaporates up to 50% faster than in conventional PES fabrics.

Stretch:
The fabrics stretch comes from either spandex in the fabric or from the type of knit or weave used for the material. This offers maximum freedom of movement.
