New this summer, this medium-capacity hiking backpack is designed for the keen outdoor enthusiast and built for fast alpine summer hikes, active treks and walks. The 30 litre capacity and Sport Performance shape feature a narrow silhouette that accommodate free movement and carries well on steep and technical terrain. Its specific female ergonomics wraps the curvier female shape which generally features shoulders and bust contours, a shorter back and larger hipbone structure. This pack will serve overnights and multi-day alpine trekking and backpacking trips. The Airflow Suspended back? construction is specifically designed to enhance ventilation on intense alpine activities. The packs main feature is its external aluminum frame that shifts the load away from the body, creating a gap for air circulation and make it a solid pick for light-and-fast, warm-weather trips. Perforated foam shoulder straps and hip belt are covered with an airy mesh for a comfortable carry with optimal breathability. The shoulder straps are curved to fit the feminine shape and shift the pressure away from the bust. And the hip belt is slightly longer to ensure it sits well and wraps around the hipbone. A zippered hip belt pocket offers an easy access and will keep small items, like a camera, lip balm and snacks, at the ready. Hand rest straps will make your progression easier, helping blood circulation in our arms as you rack up miles on the trail. This double load backpack features a top load opening with storm collar and a two-buckle top pocket lid protection where the bonus rain cover is stowed, while a front zippered opening gives direct access to the load and side compression straps secure the body. Two ice axe and poles holding systems make the backpack very adaptable: Quick Axe? features quick access straps that fix the axes head upwards. The system adapts to all shapes of ice axes, ergonomic and straight, and the straps can also function as a gear holder, simply setting up the loops and buckle differently to pack your poles, mat or sleeping bag. Speed Poles? will allow to free your hands very quickly when the trail turns vertical, using the lateral lash points to stow your poles without taking off your pack. The internal hydration compartment is also very convenient: No slowing down or stopping to reach for a bottle. At the bottom of the pack, loading straps will carry more gear, like a jacket or a tent. To maximize the performance-to-weight ratio, the Elium is made of lightweight textiles. The very light and durable 200 denier nylon fabric has a ripstop construction for increased tear strength. To keep weight to a minimum, it is combined to a matt Polyester that provides resistance to abrasion and tearing in difficult conditions.
