The ultra-high-quality goose down that fills the top section of the bag, plus the Downtek-treated duck down which fills the rest bottom section, feet and head. Naturally, down stops insulating once it´s wet, but Downtek technology works round the problem: the treated down has excellent hydrophobic properties, so it keeps all its thermal capacity. We like the dimensions of this specifically-shaped bag, designed for expeditions: it´s longer, so you can sleep fully-clothed and keep gear dry and warm at your feet. Did you know? There are three types of sleeping bag insulation: down, synthetic and composite (mixed). Down offers an unrivalled lightness-to-thermal efficiency ratio. Weight-for-weight, you get the greatest warmth. Its very compactable but the down fluffs back up again perfectly. Insulation is all about volume. ?Its loft means plenty of air is trapped.?
